Deep mahogany red colour, with brown tinges in keeping with a properly aged wine. On the nose the wine is intense, complex and very fruity (blackberry and raspberry jams). On the palate it is powerful and quick to emerge, with body and huge concentration enhanced by its sweet but well structured tannins.

This wine is aromatic and full-bodied, with a profusion of flowery notes over a fruity background (very ripe peaches) and a hint of fennel. On the palate the wine has a long aftertaste and is silky with an elegant fullness. A touch of vanilla in the finish is indicative of the wine’s short ageing in French oak.
